Leon (stuck in for 4 days) to Astorga

Well, the Camino came to a screeching halt in Leon. As discussed previously, Ben got violently sick and was bed ridden from late Thursday to Saturday. Unfortunately, I became sick late Friday night. Same symptoms as Ben except for throwing up it was coming out the other end. Figured it had to be a bad intestinal virus. By Saturday, Ben was better but I was bed ridden for 48 hours. Could not move. The worst stomach flu I have ever had. I do recommend the Camino as a great weight loss program. Finally, on Monday, I was feeling a little better and decided we have to move forward. Although the "great" idea of riding bikes through the Metesa saved us 5 days, we moved backward. I ordered up a taxi and moved us up 30 miles to about 3 miles outside Astorga. I wanted to walk the 3 miles into town to see how I felt after being on death's bed (exaggerating) for 3 days. We got into town, found our accomadations and had dinner...our first in the past 4 days. Feeling good and we start the ascent up to Rabanel Del Camino (13 miles) tomorrow.
