Sorry for not posting...wifi has been spotty. We left the "The Way" Alburgue in Molinaseca. The owner was a wonderful older gentlemen who had either walked or biked the Camino 27 times. Now he runs the Alburgue and treats all the "pilgrims" very well. He fed us a wonderful breakfast, gave Ben and I a hug and sent us on our way with many words of wisdom. We walked about 3 miles and had to walk though the bib town of Poferrada and all of it's suburbs. Finally started climbing to Villafranca and to O'Cebreiro...Galacia!. Stayed at a small pension in Villafranca ownedby a nice old lady who took care of Ben who was not feeling good when we arrived. He is not as sick as last week but now has a bad case of the "runs". This Spanish Gonzo is a hard thing to shake. We walked today into Triacastela after walking through some of the best scenery of the whole Camino. We walked with an Irish girl who said this is much like the mountains in Ireland. Ben had to stop a few times and go with the bears into the trees because of his issues. The first time the boy has had to learn to squat for a while. We got into Triacastela at about 2:30 and many of the alburgues were already full. We found one way off the road (I posted a picture) and grabbed the last two beds. This one is probably one of the worst we have stayed at and they have no wifi. I went up the road and am sitting in another Alburgue writing. I don't know what Ben is going to do tonight without his wifi. The Camino is getting really crowded now and after tomorrow it is suppose to get crazy....Sarria on. Sarria is 100km from Santiago and you have to walk at least 100 km to earn a Compestela. So all the "short walkers" (tour groups, etc) come and fill up the alburgues. They like to stay at the alburgues for the experience. Me, I just booked a pension tomorrow. I hope they like their Alburgue experience.
